This Privacy Policy explains how International English Test processes information when you create an account, take an assessment, make a payment, request or receive a certificate, contact support, or use certificate verification features.
Information we collect
We may process account information such as your name and email address; assessment information such as answers, timing, scores and results; certificate information such as holder name, level, issue date and certificate ID; transaction records such as payment status and gateway references; and technical information needed for security and service operation.
How information is used
- To provide accounts, assessments, scoring and certificate services.
- To process or reconcile payments and control certificate access.
- To send certificate, password-reset, account and contact-support emails.
- To maintain certificate verification records and protect service integrity.
- To investigate errors, misuse, fraud or security incidents.
Payments
Where a hosted payment provider is enabled, payment-card details are handled by that provider. The application stores transaction references, amounts and statuses needed to reconcile access.
Certificate verification
A valid certificate may have a public verification page containing information needed to check the record, such as the holder name, level, issue date, certificate ID and current status.
Retention and security
Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate accounts, assessments, payment reconciliation, certificate verification, support and legal obligations. Administrative access is role-controlled and sensitive configuration values are protected by application security controls.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask about the personal information associated with your account or to request an appropriate correction. Some records may need to be retained where they are required for security, transaction history, certificate integrity or legal obligations.
